I¡¯ve bought these cameras several times and several times Walmart asks me for reviews and each time I¡¯m compelled to say how much I live them.

5mp offers great pic quality both day and night. I have Riolink cameras on 2 properties and I'm very satisfied with both the 4mp and 5 mp sets. Easy to install and monitor via video monitor and cell phone.

Overall the cameras are feature packed and offer an impressive (amazing) image quality. Some functionalities such as the night vision and motion detection can be improved upon.
Recorder has plenty of storage and offers room for expansion (4 spare ports) should you choose to add more cameras. Interface is intuitive and easy to follow. There are apps for Windows, Android and iOS, in addition to a web interface.
I'd say 2/3 of the motion detections are false positives, even light changes are considered motion... More

i¡¯m just completely disappointed that I don¡¯t understand what¡¯s going on I purchased a system for my office installed it like I¡¯ve installed several hundred of these systems and I¡¯ve had problems I¡¯m a week down the road camera is just starting to drop out and go bad Manufacture thinks it¡¯s not the NVR well what¡¯s causing cameras just to go out Manufacture thinks it¡¯s not the NVR well what¡¯s causing cameras just to go out i¡¯m sorry angry I¡¯ve purchased so many of these camera systems and never had no problems I think they have a bad batch these are the older NVR¡®s in cameras I keep getting the runaround with customer service just doing a return and purchasing something new with

The camera quality is reasonably good. The resolution is good in bright light and reasonable at night. You're going to lose resolution zooming in a long ways because this is not that expensive of a camera. Microphone works fine. The software and app is ok - I can find all the settings and it doesn't crash.
Motion Detection - Need to adjust the algorithm here. It picks up most any change to a lot of pixels which includes bugs and cloud cover changes leading to lots of alerts. However, people and animals don't create that those types of changes and suddenly alter most of the screen or fly by at 100 MPH. Need to provide better tuning. Train an AI model against it. It's the only thing holding this one back IMO.

home security/ cameras work very well/system recognized them right away/super images the program with the nvr is very intuitive. i prefer to use a stand alone monitor hdmi hookup. use mouse that came with the dvr! also someone did a great job of packaging those cameras super job!!!
